I met my goal, thirty days without a drink.   Change is hard,  it’s much easier to say “I’ll put this off another day”,  again and again, until the days turn into weeks,  months, years.   Feeling buzzed was the short term solution that compromised my long term goals.

I know this is early days and I don’t want to feel too safe, I still take the days as they come, but I’m learning everyday, better ways to deal with my feelings and stressors, other than picking up a drink.
